Morini 3 ½

For Sale: Morini 3 ½ Strada 1981 model 17,350 miles (BR1 4ET)

My wife bought this in the early 1980's from Moto Vecchia and rode it until she became pregnant with our first child. It went into a dry garage and has been stored there since.

The good points are that just before storing it got a full Dream Machine respray (Wee Vee) in the original livery, which is still startlingly good.

The bad point is that I forgot to oil the bores sufficiently and the rings rusted into the bores.

About 2012 in a fit of enthusiasm to put it back on the road. I freed the front cylinder and then the enthusiasm passed. The rear piston "moves slightly" but is by no means free. All the components I removed are stored ready to rebuild. The silencers are rusted through.

No V5 as it was off-road before SORN came into force. I have the pre-V5 registration document.
